The Moscow City Court transferred the persons involved in the child trafficking case from the pre-trial detention center to house arrest

As the lawyer of the accused Igor Trunov told TASS, the term of house arrest for the accused is set until October 14.

“The Moscow City Court has changed the preventive measure for doctors Yuliana Ivanova, Lilia Panayoti, urologist at the private NGC clinic Taras Ashitkov and General Director of the European Surrogacy Center Vladislav Melnikov.

The appellate court set the term for house arrest for them until October 14, ”he said.

In September 2020, Ashitkov, one of the defendants in the case of the sale of babies from surrogate mothers, told the POC members that he refused to admit his guilt.
