Haiti: arrest of one of the suspected brains of the assassination of Jovenel Moïse

The Haitian police announced this Sunday, July 11 that one of the suspected brains of the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse has been arrested.
He is a man of Haitian nationality.

His name is Christian Emmanuel Sanon and is 63 years old.
The
Miami Herald newspaper
presents him as a doctor who has lived in Florida for over 20 years and according to the Haitian police chief, he arrived in Haiti in June: “

He arrived in Haiti at the beginning of June accompanied by a few people initially responsible for ensuring his security.

Initial objective: to capture President Jovenel Moïse
But what were these political objectives?
According to a source from the
Miami Herald,
the commando was to capture President Jovenel Moïse and install Christian Emmanuel Sanon in his place.
It is for this purpose that he recruited 22 mercenaries through a Venezuelan company based in Florida.
This information was obtained during the interrogation of these mercenaries.
19 of the 28 alleged members of the commando are in the hands of the police.
And they are the ones who called Christian Emmanuel Sanon right after their arrest.
Two other people with whom the doctor is in contact are now considered to be the thinking heads of the operation.
Pistols, cartridges and license plates were found at the home of Christian Emmanuel Sanon.
The investigation continues as six suspected members of the commando are still at large.
American investigators, members of the FBI, the State Department, the United States Department of Justice and the United States Department of Homeland Security, arrived in Haiti on Sunday, July 11.
They notably met the director general of the police.
