Vaccination against Covid-19 will become mandatory for hospital staff or in contact with vulnerable audiences, Emmanuel Macron said in a speech on Monday.
The scope of the health pass, claimed so far only to access gatherings of more than 1,000 people or discos, will be extended from July 21.
It will also be required from early August in bars, restaurants, trains and planes, said the head of state.
