China News Service, July 12, according to Korean media reports, at around 10:35 am local time on the 12th, an army emergency transport helicopter made an emergency landing in Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province, causing 5 people including the pilot to be injured.
Five people, including the pilot, were injured in the accident. All of them have been taken to a nearby hospital without life-threatening.
Two of them were seriously injured.
According to reports, the helicopter was in an accident while trying to land on the runway, and the tail of the forced landing helicopter was partially damaged.
After the accident, the South Korean fire authorities received a report saying that "the landing helicopter crashed."
But then the Army stated that the accident happened, saying it was an "emergency landing of a helicopter trying to land."
Currently, the Army is confirming the cause of the accident.
