Chinanews.com, Berlin, July 10th. The Chinese Embassy in Germany released the "Questions and Answers on Epidemic Prevention and Other Related Issues" on its official website and WeChat public account on the 9th, responding to the Spring Miao Campaign, Sino-German vaccine mutual recognition, Sino-German flights and other China Citizens’ recent concerns are as follows:

  1. What is the progress of Operation Spring Seed in Germany?

Can I get a Chinese vaccine in Germany?

  The "Spring Seed Operation" is a concrete manifestation of the Chinese government's active assistance and efforts to vaccinate overseas compatriots with domestic or foreign vaccines and doing practical work for the masses.

However, no Chinese-made vaccine has been certified by the European Union to land in Germany.

It is recommended that Chinese citizens in Germany be vaccinated with locally approved vaccines through family doctors or vaccination centers as soon as possible on the basis of voluntary principles.

At present, Germany has cancelled the priority order of vaccination, and many Chinese citizens in Germany have successfully made appointments for local vaccination.

At present, about 40% of people in Germany have completed two shots of vaccination.

  2. Will the vaccines vaccinated by China and Germany be mutually recognized? If vaccinated in Germany, do I still need to be quarantined when I return to my country?

How long should I isolate?

  Currently, Sino-German vaccines have not yet achieved mutual recognition.

Regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not, they must undergo centralized isolation and health observation after entering China. Policies vary from place to place. Generally, centralized isolation is required for 14 days.

  3. The vaccine I received in China, but no one recognizes it after I got it. Can I ask the Chinese Embassy in Germany to issue a German vaccination certificate?

  The embassy and consulate in Germany cannot provide you with the relevant German vaccination certificate. Please ask the vaccination agency for the vaccination certificate in both Chinese and English.

  4. After the vaccination in Germany, can the embassy help prove it?

  If you have completed the vaccination in Germany, it is recommended that you keep the vaccination certificate (usually a yellow vaccination certificate or other standard vaccination certificate) for future reference.

  5. After two injections in China, is it necessary to get another German vaccine?

If the domestic vaccine is finished in China, it has been half a year since I returned to Germany.

  It is recommended to consult a family doctor or vaccination center to see if the booster injection can mix vaccines of different technical routes.

  6. If I plan to return to China within two weeks after being vaccinated with Pfizer in Germany, and IgM and IgG are both positive during the test, can I still get the green code?

  For your health and safety, and to maximize the protection rate of the vaccine, it is strongly recommended that you return to your country 14 days after the complete vaccination. This will help reduce the risk of infection on the way home.

When applying for a health code, please upload the vaccination certificate. The embassy will verify the vaccination certificate and comprehensively analyze the test results and issue the health code. If necessary, other certificates will be required.

We will consider the impact of vaccination on antibodies IgM and IgG.

  7. For people who have been infected with the new crown, Germany only requires one shot of the vaccine to be considered as a fully vaccinated person.

Is there a special application process for these people when returning to China by plane in this case?

If the nucleic acid is negative and the IgM antibody is positive, should an additional N protein test be performed?

  Previously infected people, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not, must contact the embassy or consulate in Germany at least three weeks before going to China to inquire about the testing procedures for returning home.

In general, people who have been previously infected must:

  1. Perform lung CT or X-ray examination, and issue a doctor's examination report;

  2. Perform two nucleic acid tests at least 24 hours apart;

  3. Send the above two results to the relevant embassies and consulates in Germany according to the consular area and wait for review. After the review is passed, you should self-quarantine for 14 days and provide a written statement to prove when and when you were quarantined;

  4. Perform pre-boarding nucleic acid and antibody IgM double detection according to regulations after 14 days of isolation;

  5. Upload the CT or X-ray report, the negative results of two nucleic acid tests, the isolation statement and the negative results of the double test and other materials, and apply for a health code.

  8. If parents have been vaccinated in China, can they visit relatives in Germany during the summer vacation?

  It is recommended to consult the German embassy and consulate in China for relevant policies.

  9. Under the epidemic situation, the difficulty of transnational internships and employment has risen, and the opportunities have also plummeted. If possible, can the embassy integrate or pay attention to the introduction of some Chinese-funded or Sino-foreign joint ventures to recruit college students?

  It is recommended that you learn about it through relevant recruitment websites, and join the local Chinese Students' Federation as much as possible to obtain relevant practical information through its channels.

  10. When will more flights be opened?

  At present, there are 22 flights between China and Germany every week, flying Frankfurt to Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenyang, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an and other places.

Flight information and immigration policies will be dynamically adjusted due to changes in the epidemic. It is recommended that you pay close attention to relevant airline information. The embassy will also promptly issue announcements on the adjustment of immigration policies.

  11. Is it possible to provide remote psychology/psychiatrist consultation, especially for young international students, or other auxiliary measures?

  There are some telemedicine platforms and mental health intervention special lines in China, and consultations can be conducted through telemedicine platforms.

If you need help with psychological problems, you can directly consult a professional doctor in your local area, or you can contact the education or consular department of the Chinese Embassy in Germany for help.

  12. The domestic ID card has expired, is it possible to replace it in Germany?

Many businesses in domestic banks cannot be processed without renewing their ID cards.

  The domestic ID card cannot be renewed at the embassy or consulate abroad if it expires. Please contact the police station where your household registration is located as soon as possible to learn about the renewal process.

  13. Can the domestic driver's license expire with a new one at the embassy?

  If the domestic driver's license expires, it cannot be replaced at the embassy or consulate abroad. You can contact the domestic traffic control department to learn about the issue of driver's license.
