Police were nearby when they saw how a riot broke out some distance away, a man in his 35s fell to the ground and was then kicked in the head.
A man in his 20s was arrested immediately and arrested later in the night, on suspicion of aggravated assault.
Another person is suspected of the assault, but was not detained because he is a minor.
