10 July 2021 Ikram Ijaz remains in prison, the cousin of Saman Abbas, the 18-year-old Pakistani woman who has disappeared for over two months from Novellara (Reggio Emilia) and is presumed to have been murdered by her family. The Bologna Review Court rejected the request for release made yesterday by the young man's legal defenders. The decision was filed this morning. The reasons are expected within 45 days. The man, arrested in Nimes, France, while trying to reach Spain, is currently being held in the Reggio Emilia prison.



Saman Abbas, 18, has been missing for over two months from Novellara (Reggio Emilia) and is presumed to have been murdered by her family for opposing a forced marriage at home.
