Lee Jun-seok, representative of the People's Power, continued his argument for the abolition of the Ministry of Unification today (10th).

CEO Lee argued on social media today, "It is laziness of the public and the government and a waste of blood tax that an organization without performance and work areas should be maintained for decades by inertia."

Representative Lee mentioned that in Taiwan, which views China as an unrecovered territory, instead of the Ministry of Unification, the Continental Commission was established, and in North Korea, the Fatherland Peaceful Reunification Committee was established as a counterpart of the Ministry of Unification.

He also said, "Just as gender conflicts are not resolved by having a ministry called the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, having a Ministry of Unification does not approach unification in particular."

“Rather, while the Ministry of Leisure was in existence, the gender conflict got worse, and I don’t know what the Ministry of Unification was actively doing under this administration,” Lee pointed out.

CEO Lee added, "(Ministry of Unification) thinks that it is unable to work because it is a department with an uncertain division of duties, so I think the next government should revise the Government Organization Act."

He also criticized Unification Minister Lee In-young, saying, "If you think the Ministry of Unification is a necessary ministry, then the minister is not doing his job properly in that necessary ministry, and you need to change the minister."

CEO Lee linked to the video on the YouTube account of the Ministry of Unification, a video of Minister Lee In-young handing flowers to employees on Women's Day, and said, "It's a joke, but even the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Unification is not interesting."  Money to edit the video where the minister gives flowers to the staff, it's the national tax."
