Return to the Covid box for Emmanuel Macron ... Since mid-May, the deconfinement schedule has been running its course, the progression of the Delta variant could put an end to this sequence.

In recent days, members of the government have warned of the risk of seeing the summer spoiled by the virus.

A minister confides: "

We infuse the idea that the situation has changed

 ".

The presidential address which was to be devoted to the revival will therefore take on a completely different tone.

Emmanuel Macron finds himself once again facing the health obstacle and difficult decisions.

At the top of the questions: should vaccination be made compulsory for caregivers?

Consultations were carried out by Olivier Véran and Jean Castex to try to reach a consensus.

What will the president choose?

Ditto for other avenues envisaged such as stopping free access for comfort tests ... objective: relaunch vaccination.

Isolation measures or border restrictions are also being studied.

A bill is in preparation, a minister assures that the implementation could be rapid ... by the beginning of August.

It remains to be seen what Emmanuel Macron will want to put there.
