A court in Kiev extended round-the-clock house arrest to Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the political council of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, who is suspected of treason and embezzlement of national resources in Crimea, until September 7.
According to "Hromadske", the meeting lasted for about 13 hours.
On the eve of the Pechersk District Court of Kiev, the period of investigation in the Medvedchuk case was extended by six months; the decision was made without the presence of lawyers and the accused.
