The American rapper Lil Baby was taken into custody for "transporting drugs" this Thursday afternoon in Paris.
Famous American basketball player James Harden, friend of Lil Baby and present nearby, intervened as police checked the rapper, according to the newspaper.
Also checked, he was left free on the spot, said a police source.
The scene was largely filmed by passers-by.
The 26-year-old rapper, songwriter and songwriter was checked by police in a parked car "which smelled like cannabis," according to the same source.
