The Federal Authority for Governmental Human Resources has warned all federal government employers against not complying with the procedures of the “Etimad” service for electronic approvals for human resources procedures, especially those related to the renewal of contracts for its non-citizen employees, stressing that ignoring the fulfillment of the “electronic approval” may lead to invalidity Contract renewal.

The authority stated, in an official circular that it recently directed to the ministries and federal entities, that, in addition to the circular of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources No. six of 2012 regarding compliance with the procedures of an accreditation service for electronic approvals for human resources procedures, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources confirms what was stated in its previous circulars. All, regarding the importance of federal authorities, including ministries and federal entities, obtaining electronic approvals through the electronic approval system “accreditation” for all human resources procedures, before implementing the procedures, given the legal implications of the order related to the invalidity of any procedures or decisions issued by Competent authority on administrative aspects before obtaining the relevant approval

The authority explained that in light of the directives issued by the competent authorities in the country, it should be emphasized the need to obtain electronic approval before renewing contracts for non-national employees working in all federal agencies, stressing the activation of the contract renewal procedure within the electronic approval system “Etimad” since the first of this July.

According to the authority, the “Etimad” service for electronic approvals is an electronic service provided to all ministries and federal authorities, through which electronic approvals are requested for all procedures that require the presence of these approvals through an electronic system that pours into a unified database.
