A dramatic accident occurred this Thursday afternoon at a place called La forge d'en bas in the town of Paimpont (Ille-et-Vilaine), we learned from the firefighters.
Around 2 p.m., a couple passing through the region were traveling on the departmental road 773 in a horse-drawn trailer.
For some reason, their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter fell before being struck by the moving trailer.
Despite attempts to revive her, the girl died of her injuries.
Very shocked, the parents were taken care of by the emergency services.
