The Sultanate of Oman suspends entry from 23 countries

The Supreme Committee in charge of examining a mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus in the Sultanate of Oman, and the Civil Aviation Authority decided to extend the suspension of entry to the Sultanate for those coming from: Republic of Sudan, Federal Republic of Brazil, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Federal Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Sierra Leone, Federal Republic of Ethiopia Democracy, United Kingdom, Republic of India, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Bangladesh, Republic of the Philippines, Kingdom of Thailand, Federal Republic of Malaysia, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The concerned authorities added to the list of banned countries those coming from the Republic of Singapore, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Iraq, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Tunisia, the State of Libya, the Republic of Argentina, the Republic of Colombia, and Brunei Darussalam, and those coming from any other country if they had passed through In any of these countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the Sultanate, starting from five in the evening on Friday, July 9, 2021 AD until further notice.

Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers and their families are excluded from this, and the excluded groups will be subject to the approved procedures when they enter the territory of the Sultanate.

The Supreme Committee and the Civil Aviation Authority also decided to remove the Arab Republic of Egypt from the list of countries from which arrivals are prohibited from entering the Sultanate.
