Yesterday (Wednesday) before midnight on Wednesday, a fire broke out in one of the containers of a ship carrying flammable materials in the port of "Jebel Ali", and the port authorities, the Civil Defense, and Dubai Police took quick measures to extinguish the fire, and it was already controlled in less than 40 minutes. Without recording any damages or disruptions to port operations.

The accident did not result in any injuries, thanks to the quick measures taken by the concerned authorities, which ordered the evacuation of the ship moored at the old station No. (1), which is used to unload small ships, while the other stations (2), (3), (4) continued to operate normally. And to ensure the continuation of port operations without interruption.

After the fire was extinguished, the Civil Defense, Dubai Police and the authorities of Jebel Ali Port, in cooperation with the competent authorities, were keen to take all immediate measures to ensure the continuation of operations through the port, including Building No. (1) where the accident occurred.

Jebel Ali Port authorities have launched an extensive investigation into the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding it, with port operations continuing as usual without any disruption to its schedule.
