According to Russian media reports, it was a US patrol plane that tried to invade Russian airspace that day.

  The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that on the evening of the 6th local time, Russia found an aerial target approaching the Russian border over the neutral waters of the Black Sea.

Two Su-30 fighters took off, confirmed the target and prevented it from entering Russian airspace.

  The Russian side said that the Russian pilot confirmed that the air target was a P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, and the Russian fighter "accompanied" it flying over the Black Sea.

According to Russian media reports, it can be seen from the video released by the Russian Ministry of Defense that this is a U.S. Navy patrol aircraft.
