- It happens every other day.

They arrive late and often without even hearing from them.

This morning I had to wait for an hour and a half, says Richard.

Whenever Richard suffers delays, he is careful to call and report it to the taxi company Cabonline, a travel service contractor in Lund municipality.

He usually says that he is usually met by the message that there are not enough cars available at the moment.

- So it's just to wait.

Traveling by train and bus is not an option when you do not see the signs.

That's why I have a travel service.

Recently, I had to stay at work for three hours before someone showed up, says Richard.

Prime Minister Löfven listened

According to Richard, the problems with delayed travel business trips have been similar for several years, regardless of the contractor.

This year, he pointed out the shortcomings of a noticeably taken Stefan Löfven during a telephone watch in the radio program Karlavagnen.

- After the conversation with the Prime Minister, the cars arrived 25 minutes before the scheduled time for a few weeks.

Then the delays started again, says Richard.

The company: "Fewer cars due to pandemic"

Sasa Vejzovic, head of Cabonlines Region South, is on holiday and chooses to comment on the matter in an email to SVT.

"I can not comment on specific matters without looking at it more closely, but the very few delays we have are usually due to unexpected queues in traffic and usually occur during peak times," writes Vejzovic.

According to him, the taxi industry has been hit hard by the pandemic and the supply of cars has decreased in the past year.

"This can cause a temporary lack of resources," writes Sasa Vejzovic.

In the video, you can see when SVT's reporter was waiting for a travel service with Richard - and what Stefan Löfven said when he heard about the problem.
