At 20:12, the SOS alarm center received an alarm about a drowning accident at Hamnbron in central Örebro.
The rescue service and ambulance were sent to the scene.
A man in his 60s was found in the water and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was initiated on the spot.
The man was taken by ambulance to USÖ where he was confirmed dead.
Relatives are notified.
