The decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To entrust the head of the main department of international legal cooperation of the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia Mikhail Vladimirovich Vinogradov with the functions of the Representative of Russia at the European Court of Human Rights," the document says.

The decree comes into force on July 8.

On May 26, it became known that the Russian president dismissed Mikhail Galperin from the post of Russia's representative at the European Court of Human Rights.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Justice, Konstantin Chuichenko, announced a 30% decrease in complaints from Russia accepted for consideration by the ECHR.
