The sources refused to describe the country's vaccination mechanism as slow, stressing that it proceeds according to the quantities of vaccines received by Kuwait, as there are no quantities in the stores that are saved, but doses are given according to the quantities available, away from any delay.

And about the existence of an intention to retract the decision to allow the entry of expatriates to Kuwait as of August 1, in light of the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country, the sources confirmed that there is no reversal of the decision currently, because there is sufficient time to review it, according to the developments of the epidemiological situation, stressing that any decision contained in If the health situation in the country worsened.

The sources concluded that the developments of the epidemic at the present time are unpredictable, as they change on a daily basis, and if the situation continues to deteriorate for each recent incident.

The Ministry of Health said that it had issued a circular on February 24, 2021, authorizing hospitals, health centers and private health clinics to purchase vaccines against the Corona virus from the authorized authorities, after their licensing and approval, and accordingly the Ministry confirmed the incorrectness of what was circulated regarding its refusal to import private hospitals for vaccines. and provide vaccination service.

He stated that the number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care departments amounted to 310 cases, while the total number of cases that were confirmed to be infected and are still receiving the necessary care reached 18,600, and the total number of cases in the "Covid 19" wards reached 1150.

He stated that the number of swabs that were conducted during the same period amounted to 14,850, bringing the total of examinations to 3064,191, indicating that the percentage of injuries to the number of these swabs amounted to 13.42%.

With regard to the rate of injuries in the governorates, Al-Sanad said that it reached 33% in the Ahmadi governorate, followed by the Hawalli governorate with 28%, then Al-Farwaniyah with 18%, Al-Jahra by 11% and finally the capital with 10%.

He renewed the call to continue to take preventive measures, avoid contact with others, and ensure physical distancing, recommending visiting the accounts of the Ministry of Health and official authorities in the country to review the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.
