The manager of a paragliding club in Moselle appeared before the Thionville court, reports Le Républicain Lorrain.

He was being prosecuted for an accident in a microlight during a bachelor party in August 2019.

That day, his machine had struck a high voltage line 6 meters high.

On board, the future groom had been the victim of an electric arc and burned to the 3rd degree.

He also lost consciousness and was granted sixty days of ITT.

Two years after the incident, he has still not resumed professional activity.

The court requested six months suspended prison sentence and a fine of 1,000 euros, against the pilot who had recognized a "human fault".

The decision is expected in early September.
