08 July 2021 Five years and four months of imprisonment for multiple road homicide: this is the penalty, formalized today by the Assize Court of Appeal of Rome, that Pietro Genovese, son of the director Paolo, agreed with the public prosecutor of the to the death of 16-year-old students Gaia Von Freymann and Camilla Romagnoli, overwhelmed the night between 21 and 22 December 2019 in Corso Francia.



In the first instance, last December, the accused was sentenced to 8 years at the end of a trial carried out with the abbreviated procedure. The judges ratified the agreement between the defense and the general prosecutor's office and this closes the judicial affair making the penalty imposed definitive. The accused has been under house arrest for over a year and seven months and has worked as a volunteer in a non-profit organization. Gaia and Camilla were 16 at the time of the tragedy.
