This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.

"At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, the competent authorities of Hungary will extradite Russian citizen Dmitry Chertok to Russia," the supervisory authority said.

The report says that, according to the investigation, in December 2014 "Chertok acquired the right to someone else's property on an especially large scale by deception."

According to the prosecutor's office, as a result of the unlawful actions of the accused and his accomplices, CJSC Vnukovo Investment Company suffered damage in the amount of more than 79 million rubles.

He was detained in Hungary in July 2019.

He will be delivered to Moscow on Thursday, accompanied by officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol.

In June, it was reported that one of the participants in an armed attack on a school in Chechnya in 1996 was extradited from Belgium to Russia.
