At the same time, the smallest number of honorary donors for the same period was recorded in Ingushetia, Magadan region, Adygea and Kalmykia.

In these regions, not a single honorary donor was registered for the indicated period.

The Blood Center of the FMBA of Russia notes that, in accordance with Federal Law No. 125-FZ "On the Donation of Blood and Its Components", the badge "Honorary Donor of Russia" is awarded to citizens who donated whole blood 40 or more times, plasma 60 or more times, whole blood 25 or more times and blood plasma in a total amount of 40 times, whole blood less than 25 times and blood plasma in a total amount of 60 times.

In 2020, most honorary donors were registered in Sverdlovsk (980), Nizhny Novgorod (909), Chelyabinsk regions (643), as well as in Moscow (574).

The smallest number of honorary donors last year was recorded in Ingushetia (4), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (8), Kabardino-Balkaria (9) and the Altai Republic (14).

In 2020, over 85,000 Muscovites became blood donors, with 83,000 donating them.
