Cédric Jubillar remains in prison: the investigative chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal rejected Thursday the request for the release of the husband of nurse Delphine Jubillar, who has been missing since December 15, 2020. Cédric Jubillar was placed under examination for murder and imprisoned on June 18.

His lawyers considered that there was in this file "no proof" of the guilt of their client, a 34-year-old painter-drywaller, who claims his innocence.

"Protect the clues"

At a hearing Tuesday, Advocate General Bernard Lavigne requested the continued pre-trial detention of Cédric Jubillar, whom he described as a man "in total and constant contradiction with himself", "in order to protect the clues and so that he is not in a position to modify elements of the investigation or to exert pressure on anyone ".

There has been no news since December 15 from the 33-year-old nurse, who lived in the village of Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), near Albi, with her husband and two children.

The couple were going through a divorce.
