China News Service, Phnom Penh, July 8th (Reporter Ouyang Kaiyu) The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia issued an emergency notice on the evening of the 7th on adjusting the closed-loop isolation measures for people travelling to China by plane from Cambodia.

　　Starting from July 7, direct flights between China and Cambodia have been reduced to 2 flights per week.

Due to the sudden reduction of flights and the large uncertainty of flight time, the airlines did not have enough time to confirm specific flight information in advance, and could not arrange passengers to China for 14 days (including flight days) closed-loop isolation at designated hotels.

Based on the consideration of seeking truth from facts and reducing unnecessary losses of passengers going to China, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia temporarily shortened the current closed-loop isolation time from 14 days (including flight days) to 4 days.

　　Regarding the quarantine and testing arrangements, the notice pointed out that starting from 0:00 on July 19, 2021 (Monday), Phnom Penh time, all Chinese and foreign passengers who take flights to China from Cambodia must travel by themselves on the 5th day before the boarding day (inclusive). Go to the “Cambodia King’s Army Hospital” designated by the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia for nucleic acid testing ("Single Test"). After the "Single Test" obtains a negative nucleic acid report the next day, go to the hotel designated by the relevant airline company and conduct it under the supervision of the airline 4 A single person is isolated in a single room; within 2 days before boarding, the airline will uniformly arrange for nucleic acid and serum antibody tests (referred to as "dual tests") to the "Cambodia National Institute of Public Health" (referred to as NIPH).

After the closed-loop isolation is over, the relevant airlines will issue relevant isolation certificates for passengers.

　　Regarding the arrangements for the transition period, the notice stated that passengers who intend to fly to China before 0:00 on July 19, 2021 will continue to implement the relevant provisions of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia’s consular notice on June 25, that is, the boarding day will be conducted at the hotels designated by the airlines. (Inclusive) Closed loop management in the first 14 days.
