08 July 2021 The spread of the Delta variant worries investors all over the world, including Wall Street.

The New York Stock Exchange opens sharply: the Dow Jones immediately drops one point and the Nasdaq one and a half points.



The European markets are also in deep red today, not at all comforted by the ECB's decisions on inflation.


No Lagarde effect therefore on the markets.

Milan loses 2.8%, black jersey of the Old Continent.

Paris was also down by more than two points, while London and Frankfurt recorded losses of under 2%.



In Piazza Affari the worst stock is Cnh Industrial (-4.5%).

Not even Stellantis (-3.5%) is saved from declines, after the announcement of strong investments in the electric car field.



Before the US and Europe, Asian stock exchanges also closed in negative territory in a session all marked by fears and sales.
