Firefighters Andreas Eriksson and Peter Helgersson belong to Södra älvsborg's rescue service association and work in Bollebygd and the surrounding area.
They both have extensive experience in extinguishing forest fires.
They testify to the difficulty of putting out the fires - and now urge the public to exercise caution.
- It is a very resource-intensive and physically stressful job, says Andreas Eriksson.
He says that forest fires can occur from natural causes, such as thunder or extreme heat. But also through human negligence.
