Adolescents seeking help for eating disorders have more than doubled during the pandemic.

At Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, BUP, in Blekinge, two probable reasons for the increase are seen - distance education and more time for social media.

- The everyday routines disappear and you also get more time to look at social media how "slim and nice" you should be, says Gunilla Kvarnström, specialist psychologist.
