This is what the investigators of the Departmental Security of Metz discovered.
They arrested, last March, a 54-year-old man who had stolen many parcels from letterboxes using a pass, reports Le Républicain Lorrain.
Since then, and thanks to a call for witnesses, around forty victims have made themselves known.
The person, who has admitted the facts and will soon be tried before the criminal court, resold the products of his thefts on sites such as Leboncoin or Vinted.
Everything that was seized at his home will be ceded to charities.
