On June 29, around 1 a.m., two brothers were attacked by two men while they were in rue d'Alsace-Lorraine, in Toulouse.
A heated argument ensued and the 25-year-old eldest intervened to protect his 20-year-old brother.
It was at this point that one of the two attackers drew a knife and threatened the older sibling, who tried to escape a nasty blow.
Arrested, the alleged perpetrator denies
His pursuer, still armed and vindictive, then gave him a brush and the young man fell to the ground.
His fall resulted in a double open fracture of his tibia and fibula.
Faced with the situation, the suspect decided to flee.
But taking his legs around his neck, he dropped his cell phone.
A precious clue that allowed the police to trace the trail to an 18-year-old Toulouse man, known for similar facts.
The police went to arrest him on July 1 at his home, where they found a knife.
The two brothers, including the eldest who received 15 days from ITT, recognized him, while he denied being the perpetrator.
The suspect should be tried immediately.
