The former general secretary of the PP María Dolores de Cospedal insisted before the judge who is instructing the Kitchen case that she never had professional ties with the former commissioner José Manuel Villarejo.

Before the questions of the magistrate Manuel García Castellón, Cospedal assured that her husband presented it to him.

"He told me that (Villarejo) was interested in meeting me. It occurred to me that it might be useful to meet him."

"He asked to see me and told my husband that he had information about some people in the party who could be doing performances that were not orthodox and I also wanted to know if that was true. He never proved it."

In addition, she refused to have a professional relationship with him.

Asked about her relationships with the former treasurer of her party Luis Bárcenas, Cospedal was blunt.
