“Today we are opening one of the largest vaccination centers in Europe and the largest in Russia,” Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at the opening of the checkpoint.

He noted that today the standard capacity of the center reaches 6 thousand people per day.

Sobyanin admitted that if the influx of people wishing to undergo vaccination is greater, then the opening hours and, accordingly, the throughput of the center will increase.

Sobyanin also said that 3 million people received the first component of the coronavirus vaccine.

In June, Russian State Duma deputy Gennady Onishchenko, in an interview with Nation News, criticized traditional methods of "treating" the coronavirus.
