The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai called on its customers to take advantage of the "Treej" service, announcing four simple steps through which they can apply for the service through the "Business Sector Services Application".

Individuals and companies in the Emirate of Dubai have the right to apply for the service to provide a temporary gravel road to plots of land and within the right-of-way in areas where there are no asphalt roads.

The authority clarified, through its digital platforms, the possibility of applying for the service through four steps, starting with downloading the business sector services application, then clicking on the “Traffic and Roads” service from the list of services on the main page, and then choosing “Traij” and pressing “Submit”, to be fourth entry Customer data, upload required documents, and confirm information.

The documents required of individuals include a copy of the identity card and a copy of the land map, while companies must provide a commercial license, in addition to the aforementioned documents.

The service is provided free of charge only to residents of residential villas, while the cost is determined based on a field inspection after submitting the application for the rest of the types of lands classified as commercial, industrial, or agricultural, as well as farms.

The provision of the service is subject to a number of terms and conditions, including the review of the request and approval by the Roads and Transport Authority before providing the service, in addition to paying the costs for non-free requests, and implementing the road according to the approved specifications and standards and within the right of way.

Customers of contractors implementing the road construction can follow up the requests through the Customer Happiness Center in Umm Ramool, which will take, according to the authority’s website, about 21 working days after obtaining the No Objection Certificate, which is a certificate submitted by the contractor implementing the road to the relevant service departments to obtain All consent.

The "Business Sector Services" application enables customers to follow up on their requests, view current and future tenders, request commercial advertisements, pay fees online, and request the issuance of electronic no-objection certificates, in addition to many informational and interactive services related to the sector.

The RTA’s smart applications package also includes the “Dubai Drive” application, which provides services related to vehicle ownership and parking, in addition to “Salik”, in addition to the “Smart Roads” application, which provides information guidance enhanced by maps, live transportation of traffic with audio and video, and automatic rerouting. In addition to providing a navigational window for guidance without the need to activate the Internet on the mobile phone.
