Gotland extends the break of independent vaccine doses

Since the first of July, Region Gotland has closed the booking of independent vaccination doses due to the lack of vaccines on the island.

The region is now extending the decision on Pfizer's and Moderna's covid-19 vaccine.

However, we give those who have received a first dose of Astra on the mainland the opportunity to book a second dose on Gotland, because there the supply is greater, says vaccine coordinator Christine Senter in a press release.

The decision applies to everyone who has taken their first vaccine dose in another region, including Gotlanders.
