Yesterday, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority announced that 74% of the total population received the first dose of the vaccine, and 64% of the total population received two doses of the vaccine.

While Bloomberg International Agency revealed that the UAE has become the most vaccinated country against the emerging corona virus in the world, according to the agency’s index for tracking vaccines.

The agency indicated that the UAE has surpassed Seychelles, becoming the most vaccinated against "Covid-19", as it provided about 15.5 million doses, enough to cover 72.1% of its population with two doses.

The Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, confirmed that this new global achievement is added to the country’s record of achievements in the face of the “Covid-19” pandemic, and is also considered an international certificate of appreciation for the national vaccination campaign launched by the UAE, and continues to achieve its goals day after day. .

In addition, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced, yesterday, the provision of 29,969 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine during the past hours, bringing the total number of doses that were provided until yesterday, 15 million and 534 thousand and 207 doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution. 157.06 doses per 100 people.

This comes in line with the Ministry's plan to provide a "Covid-19" vaccine, and in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the virus.

The Ministry also announced that 254,639 new examinations were conducted, during the past hours, on different groups in society, using the best and latest medical examination techniques, with the aim of early detection, counting and isolating cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) and those in contact with it.

The intensification of investigation and examination procedures and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 1,599 new cases of HIV infection of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases and subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total number of registered cases to 639,476 cases, and the Ministry also announced the death of three cases as a result of the repercussions Corona virus infection, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 1834 cases.

The ministry also announced the recovery of 1,570 new cases of people infected with "Covid-19" and their full recovery from symptoms of the disease, after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital.
