Former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol said the current government's hasty policy to phase out nuclear power must be revised.

After meeting with reporters after an interview with Professor Joo Han-kyu of the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Seoul National University, who has criticized the nuclear phase-out policy, former President Yoon was skeptical that energy policy is an important issue for security, economy, and our lives. He said it like this.

Former President Yoon also said that his resignation was related to the handling of the Wolseong nuclear power plant case, and explained that the 'prosecution wanbak (completely deprived of the prosecution's investigation authority)' led to the request for an arrest warrant for the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Baek Un-gyu.

He added that he decided that he could no longer be in his position, and that his reason for participating in politics was ultimately not related to the Wolsong Nuclear Power Plant and the government's policy to phase out nuclear power.

Let's watch the video together.
