A dead child was found in a car in Sharjah

The General Command of Sharjah Police referred the death of an eight-year-old Asian boy to the Public Prosecution in Sharjah, after he was absent from his parents' house last Sunday afternoon, and was found inside a vehicle that was parked next to their house and its owner did not close its doors.

Initial investigations indicate that the child entered the vehicle for the purpose of playing, and was unable to get out after closing the door. The child died as a result of high temperatures and remained unventilated for long hours;

The forensic laboratory indicated that there was no criminal suspicion in the merits of the case.

Sharjah Police stressed the importance of parents bearing their responsibilities towards their children, not to neglect them and to take safety precautions to reduce the occurrence of such accidents, including the provisions to close the doors of vehicles before leaving them, and not to leave them open, as children do not usually feel the dangers that may surround them, as a result of their poor awareness. ;

It is a responsibility to protect them.
