The total number of people who received at least the first vaccination against coronavirus in Moscow exceeded 2.7 million people.

This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, who thanked the townspeople for a responsible attitude to health - both his own and those of others.

“Vaccination against COVID-19 is gaining momentum.

Medical workers work with full dedication ... Every day 60-70 thousand people receive protection from the virus, ”he said.

According to Sobyanin, it is planned to increase these volumes in the future, including through the vaccination of foreign workers.

"The throughput capacity of vaccination points for foreigners in the coming days will be increased to 20 thousand people a day," - said the mayor.

He also spoke about the work of the QR code system, which has been operational in Moscow since June 28.

Sobyanin said that digital certificates of protection against COVID-19 have already been received by millions of Muscovites and guests of the capital.

To simplify the procedure for obtaining the code, the Moscow authorities decided to send SMS messages about a negative result of PCR tests, which will also contain a link to the code, the mayor of the city said.

“In order to make receiving QR codes as simple and not burdensome as possible, in the coming days we will start sending SMS about a negative result of PCR tests with a link to the issued QR code.

And in the future we will work out the technology of sending SMS with QR codes after the completion of vaccination, ”he stressed.

Against the background of the difficult situation with the spread of coronavirus in the capital, restrictions are in effect.

Since the beginning of the week in Moscow, only vaccinated citizens, as well as those who have been ill with COVID-19 in the last six months, and people with a negative PCR test can visit public catering establishments.

This can only be confirmed with a special QR code, which must be obtained using the electronic medical card of Moscow, the mos.ru portal, and the EMIAS.INFO resource.

In addition, the city authorities decided to encourage organizations in which the immunization process of employees is actively ongoing.

Sobyanin said that over 1,500 city enterprises have already reported on vaccination with the first component of 60% of workers.

“To encourage the most responsible and disciplined work collectives ... the first 100 enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs that meet the requirement for the complete completion of vaccination 60% of employees will receive grants in the amount of 100% of personal income tax paid in the previous 12 months, but not more than 5 million rubles ", - said the mayor.

In addition, cafes and restaurants that strictly comply with the requirements for the use of QR codes will receive grants for full payment of utilities for this period by the end of the third quarter.

Sobyanin expressed the hope that part of these funds will be used to reward workers who have been vaccinated against coronavirus.

The City Hall promised to announce the detailed conditions for the support actions in the near future.

“I hope that next week the number of Muscovites vaccinated with the first component will reach three million.

This means that we will take another big step to protect the life and health of citizens and ensure the normal operation of the economy, ”he stressed.

Meanwhile, Rospotrebnadzor reported that they had checked 23 markets in the capital for compliance with the requirements, the results of which revealed a number of shortcomings: "Seven retail markets were operating with violations of the anti-epidemic regime under the threat of the spread of a new coronavirus infection."

In particular, the following measures were not observed: control over the observance of social distance, wearing masks and gloves was not ensured, thermometry of visitors was not carried out.

The sellers also worked with a mask down to their chin, without gloves, in violation of the requirements for the use of personal protective equipment.

On the facts of the violations identified, administrative cases were initiated under Part 2 of Article 6.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of legislation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population").

Rospotrebnadzor recalled that the situation with coronavirus in Moscow remains difficult, and vaccination is the best protection against COVID-19.

“You can get vaccinated in polyclinics, shopping centers, pavilions“ Healthy Moscow ”and other public places free of charge,” the department stressed.
