The two were punished after driving a bus with a scooter at Hornsbergs beach in Stockholm on Friday.

Whether they will be the first to be fined according to the new rules is not known, but the penalty will be SEK 1,500 each.

The problem of disturbing jet skis has been a popular topic of conversation among affected bathers and nature lovers for many years.

- It has been a recurring problem in the last ten years and it has increased especially in the metropolitan regions around bathing areas and in areas close to the port.

"Too much administration"

Even before, unnecessary and disruptive driving has been a crime, but then the maritime police have had to make a report via the prosecutor's office, which could then proceed to the district court.

- Before, we barely wrote any reports on this crime because there was too much administration.

Now I think we will report this crime more because it will be easier for us, says Johan Skogfeldt.
