United States: dozens of companies targeted by cyber attacks

For months, American companies have been threatened by waves of cyber attacks.

In the United States, around 200 companies are potentially the target of a cyberattack with a ransom note.

They are targeted through Kaseya, a leading provider of IT and security management services for SMEs.

For months, American companies have been threatened by hackers linked to Russia.

On its website, supplier Kaseya estimates that around 40 companies around the world are affected by this cyberattack.

The Dublin-based company says it has shut down some of its servers "out of caution" and urges its customers to do the same. 

On the Reddit forum, Huntress Labs which raised the alert, indicates that around 200 companies have been targeted, without specifying which ones.

He also explains that the attack would come from an affiliate of the Russian hacker group Revel or Sodinokibi.

The very ones who had crippled the activities of global meat giant JBS in North America and Australia.
