According to the investigation, officials of the Izhvodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise committed violations of the rules when using a dangerous chemical - chlorine, which led to its release into the atmosphere and the threat of harm to the health of city residents.

On July 2, chlorine was released in Izhevsk, and residents were asked to leave the territory of the Metallurgists' Town.

In connection with the incident, the prosecutor's office of Udmurtia began an investigation.
