The Jilin-1 Wide 01B satellite is an optical remote sensing satellite that can obtain high-definition images with a width of not less than 150KM. The satellite can provide remote sensing services for industries such as land resources, mineral development, and smart city construction.

The Jilin-1 satellite will network with satellites in orbit to provide remote sensing data and product services for users in industries such as forestry, agriculture, grassland, ocean, resources, and environment.

The Long March 2D carrier rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is a normal temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket with a take-off thrust of 300 tons and a carrying capacity of 1.2 tons corresponding to a 700-km sun-synchronous circular orbit. It has different orbital requirements. Single-satellite and multi-satellite launch capabilities.

The Long March ⅡD carrier rocket test team relies on the first launch site digital management system of the Eighth Academy to realize the optimization of the launch site workflow, real-time recording of test data, and accurate review.

Tan Xuejun, the commander-in-chief of the Long March 2D carrier rocket, said that this year, the Long March 2D carrier will perform a total of seven aerospace launch missions, and six missions will be scheduled in the second half of the year.

This mission is the 53rd launch of the Long March 2D carrier rocket and the 376th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
