The 31-year-old collided with his car heading north at a construction site against crash barriers on Saturday night, the police said.
The car overturned, hit other crash barriers and only came to rest after 200 meters.
According to the police, the driver was probably not buckled up at the time of the accident.

In an accident with a self-made soap box, there were two injured in Reichelsheim (Odenwaldkreis).
Two 20-year-olds and a 19-year-old woman had lost control of their vehicle in a curve on Friday evening and overturned, the police said.
They were thrown out of the soap box.
Two of them were taken to a hospital.
