It was in February this year that Ebba Busch pointed out a legal representative as a criminal in a post on Facebook.
The legal representative represented the other party in the infected house dispute in which the KD leader was involved. A couple of days later, she was reported for gross slander and Chief Prosecutor Anders Jakobsson chose to initiate a preliminary investigation.
Ebba Busch now admits libel and has signed a criminal injunction.
She writes:
"I am writing to you today, to tell you that today I have written a criminal injunction, regarding the report made against me for libel.
I will soon write a few words about why I chose to do so - even though it means that I admit a crime that I in heart and soul consider myself innocent of.
But first I want to say the following: No factual information I referred to has been incorrect.
For me, the truth has always been important, but the law does not take into account the truth content.
In Sweden, the truth can also be slander.
In other countries it does not work that way, but we are in Sweden and Swedish law applies here ”
