Peru says they are ready to vaccinate all citizens by the end of the year

He stated this in an interview with RPP.

“I am confident that by December we will be able to vaccinate not only the entire population of Peru, but also residents of the country,” Ugarte said.

He noted that 8.4 million doses of Pfizer vaccine are expected to arrive in the third quarter, and another 17 million in the fourth quarter.

Also, in the near future, delivery of another 3 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine is expected.

A total of 63 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines are planned to be delivered to the country.

Peru has a population of 32.51 million.
