01 July 2021: Agreement with Mise on the Pernigotti dispute: layoffs for reorganization without redundancies extended by 12 months. 



This was announced by Fai-Cis, after the videoconference meeting between representatives of Pernigotti, trade unions, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Economic Development. 



On the table the joint examination of the relaunch plan of the well-known confectionery company, which provides for investments for over 4 million euros and a further 12 months of layoffs aimed at reorganizing the production plants and avoiding the redundancy of about 90 employees at the Novi sites Ligure and Milan. 



"A good result, which envisages an investment plan shared between the parties which, above all, continues to guarantee employment levels", comments the Secretary General Fai Cisl Alessandria-Asti Enzo Medicina. "These investments will be aimed at the modernization of the production plant in Novi Ligure with structural interventions that will make it possible to strengthen internal production, making it continuous and no longer linked to seasonality. The training of workers will be fundamental, essential for retraining and professional growth. The dispute it is not yet closed, but we hope that this path will truly lead the company out of this long period of crisis. " 



The Secretary General of Fai Cisl Onofrio Rota also expressed satisfaction, underlining: "After two years of dispute, it is now really necessary to guarantee production and employment continuity. The social safety nets, extended by one year, will allow the company to concentrate investments on training, reindustrialisation of the factories and planning, essential elements for a reality of excellence of Made in Italy in the world. "
