It was in January 2020 that a young man died and a woman was injured when their car was shelled at a petrol station in Kungens kurva.

Another man was by the car but survived unharmed.

According to the district court, he was the actual target.

Despite the fact that the investigation could not show who or who fired the shots, a 24-year-old man was sentenced to 17 years and ten months in prison for murder and attempted murder.

The district court considered it proven that he drove the car in which the shooter or shooters were traveling.

- We are disappointed with the verdict.

He is innocent, said the convict's defense lawyer Diyar Beddiro when the verdict was announced in April.

Two other men who were charged with aiding and abetting murder were acquitted.
