In these hours when the bridges of the M5S attempt the last, difficult mediation between the former premier and the guarantor of the Movement Beppe Grillo. Di Maio is one of the big grillini who works for unity. Sources of his staff let it be known that in recent days "he has repeatedly reiterated that it is necessary to act thinking about the good of the Italians". 

The clash between Grillo and Conte is therefore becoming more and more clear. In the 5-star Movement the stormy air does not seem to calm down and the picture that emerges from the meetings of the Senate and Chamber groups last night is of a fracture with still undecipherable results. More than a hundred parliamentarians would be ready to side with the former Prime Minister, yesterday protagonist of a duel via social media with the Guarantor, who in a video accuses Conte for a total lack of communication on the new structure he would like to give to his creature.

"I've never seen the Charter of Values, I've seen a draft", says Grillo. "The 2050 transition may have been forgotten in the Statute about the Code of Ethics," he adds, denying that he is the "father master of the Movement" and instead of being "its father" and having done "extraordinary things" which he does not deny . Conte's reply harsh, asking the counterpart "not to tell falsehoods about my account and my work". The lawyer also says he is ready to publish "a very dense documentary correspondence" which testifies to his total transparency.

"My project goes on" and will not remain "closed in a drawer", is the final thrust. Words that some compare to a new 'running board', at the start of a possible split. Alongside Conte, the group of the Senate is united, confirming in a note the confidence in the ruling political leader, Vito Crimi, (who yesterday announced a reflection on the permanence in the Movement) and asks for the statute to be submitted to the vote of the members. But not on the Rousseau platform. 

Tavern: "Future Movement, must be decided by the Movement"

Paola Taverna, a historical face who cannot be 'suspected' of lack of loyalty towards Grillo speaks of "a ready project, which only had to be voted on. So I think it is right to allow our members to express themselves on this project and therefore on the future of the Movement. Direct democracy is a fundamental principle, which it is not enough to affirm or brandish, but which must be guaranteed a real and full exercise. The future of the Movement must be decided by the Movement ".

Buffagni: "For once we ask Grillo responsibility"

"For once we ask Beppe and Giuseppe for responsibility. Let's meet and understand how to defend a common dream. Whatever is decided, we must guarantee that there will be coordinated viability in view of the Quirinale. Crimi: "Has Grillo called a vote? I don't agree with his decision"

I also remember that at the moment the M5s has no legal representative and therefore Grillo, with reference to the consultations in question, is thethe only person entitled to formulate the 'specific request' "

Cancelleri: "I do not recognize myself in a Movement that does not want to change"

"I do not recognize myself in a movement that does not want to change. And if this is the case I also wonder what sense my presence has within it. I am perplexed, embittered, disappointed". Thus the Undersecretary for Transport Giancarlo Cancelleri in La Stampa on the crisis of the 5 Star Movement. "I no longer recognize myself in this project", he continues and underlines: "I am not called to propose solutions, but I am part of the Guarantee Committee and I have to analyze the issue. I take note of the decision of the guarantor Beppe Grillo who, following his prerogatives , asked to put to the vote the formation of the Steering Committee which, I recall, had been chosen by the members during the States General.

As part of our duties, we immediately replied to the guarantor saying that he must send us a formal request to activate all the procedures necessary for this vote. However, it should be noted that it will be necessary to vote on a new platform. Rousseau is unusable because the guarantor of privacy said so and because he no longer even has the data of the members ". Cancelleri was" very perplexed by what happened.
