At 12 on Thursday, there will be a minute of silence in Blekinge's churches after the events in Gothenburg last night, where a police officer on duty was shot to death.

Ann-Louise Trulsson, who is the vicar of the parish in Karlskrona, will hold the silent moment in Fredrikskyrkan.

- During the morning we were contacted by our contract rector who urged us all to keep a minute of silence with the twelve o'clock.

So we will do that.

I think it is a good position, that we as a church take a stand for law and order, says Ann-Louise Trulsson to SVT Nyheter Blekinge.

"Care for relatives"

The minute of silence will be held after the regular bell ringing, the so-called soul ringing, which is held for deceased people at 12 o'clock.

- You can then also connect the soul ring to this.

I will do that then when I start the silent minute.

We sympathize and care with relatives and those affected, colleagues and others, says Ann-Louise Trulsson.
